Winter Holydays look like the perfect moment of the year to be with your family or loved ones. Or both! Unfortunately this isn’t always possible, because travelling, working or such other such things may block or forbid your intentions in spending a lovely Christmas and a prefect New Year. Still, maybe all you want, even if somebody is away from you is to spend your time seeing and talking to him, her. So, in this case it can be appropriate to take a look on the main video calling options which you can use to make your Holydays happier.
Skype the famous
First of all, Skype might be the key, as it can be suitable for any platforms and allows video chat, which might be the most important thing. Besides, everybody heard about it and it shouldn’t be a problem in using it. Of course, you have to ensure that you have a good device on which to use it, because it slows down phones and computers! FaceTime resembles Skype, the difference being that is an application made by Apple, reason for which it is suitable only for iPhones and Macs.

Besides those two we can talk a bit about two relatively unknown applications, ooVoo Chat and Tango. The first one is excellent if you need a group chat, as it supports up to 12 persons in a conversation without problems, even though its interface may confuse you a bit. On the other hand, Tango offers more than video chat so you can hang out with someone all day long as you talking. It isn’t very popular, because was launched quite recently, but it has good potential considering that it is available for many platforms and quite easy to use, despite the video quality isn’t as good as it happens with the others mentioned above.
