When you have a history of more than three decades, it is a very good idea to present it to your public, especially if you consider yourself one of the giants from your industry. From US, not from every country! So it is the case of Verizon, one of the biggest phone mobile operators from the country, as we all know. The representatives of this company established a museum in their test center in Bedminster, New Jersey.

Famous Motorola of 80s

There you can find some real piece of art, especially considered so by the nostalgic people who used mobile phones from the very beginning or at least from the ‘90s. Of course, not all the phones ever carried are here, but any curious can enjoy the ‘ancient’ Motorolas’ and also the first digital CDMA phone, which appeared in 1994. From the times when a mobile phone could have hardly enter a normal pocket, you can experience some old models of Sony, Nokia or Sanyo.

Kyocera 6035, ancestor of smartphones

As years passed, smartphones started to appear in one form or another and in 2001, Kyocera 6035 got the privilege of being the ancestor of this type of phones. Two years later, devices with camera appeared and back in 2005, first models of BlackBerry show up. Of course, all of them can be found in this museum. The arrival of capacitive touch screens in 2007 slowly started to create new vision and new expectation for all customers. Verizon's lineup became a series of black slabs, some with keyboards, but black touch-screen slabs nonetheless. Then the tablets arrived, the ultimate black slabs, which are now in full development and continue growing.
