Competition grows higher and higher in the communication market. So, one of the big four companies from US, T-Mobile, does whatever it is necessary to satisfy their customers and to attract new ones. So, recently, the officials of T-Mobile that the expansion of its super-fast wideband LTE continues in all US territory and now looks like it reached some key locations. After it went live in Spokane, Washington, the wideband LTE is extended now also in the San Diego area, in the West coast of the country.

This process is only a continue development that T-Mobile set in the last few years. So far, statistics say that they have covered a number of 25 markets with their services of high speed wideband LTE. Of course, I am sure that you all know what is the importance of this service for Internet users. Especially for those who make a living out of Internet. Wideband LTE has more bandwidth and, hence, has more capacity to carry data on the network.

For instance, when such an upgrade takes place, like it happened in San Diego now, the customers can get access to faster speeds than they had been used to, at values of even 50 percent more. Wideband LTE has theoretical peak download speeds of 110 Mbps, which means that consumers can download a 90 minute HD movie in just 3.5 minutes. In fact, now, there, the average download speed it is 76 Mbps which is far more than it used to be not very long ago in the past, when the values stayed at 17.9 Mbps.

T-Mobile Regional Vice President for West Engineering, David Gallacher, wanted to mention some things at the moment of the launch of the wideband LTE in the new region: “We rolled out the nation’s fastest 4G LTE network last year, but we didn’t stop there. From Facebooking to FaceTiming, whatever you’re doing on your mobile device, when you do it in San Diego with Wideband LTE, you’ll do it faster than ever before on T-Mobile’s network”.
