Smartphones which are used in our days are getting boring at some point, without mattering what they can do. This is because, mainly, with all you can do almost the same things but in different ways. I mean we all listen to music, play games, watch music or using social media applications. The future brings us new things and one of them might be a new smartphone which can be capable of doing amazing and unexpected things like are in the same time interesting and very useful for us as human beings.

Calculates water quality and sugar from your blood

The project about which I will talk a bit it is named Ara and its target is to launch a Google-made smartphone with swappable parts. A company which takes care of this kind of ideas is Vestigen. They are concentrated in building smart and efficient sensors for such smartphones that can do a lot of things using organic substances. For instance, through them you can calculate if the water is drinkable or how much sugar you have in your blood, by giving away a drop of it.

A new era

Much knowledge should be accessed in order to achieve such progress, but programmers, engineers and even doctors are working hard to push smartphone technology at a step at which it wasn’t before and might make a transition between the eras. Maybe communication as we know it now will become history or maybe our health will meet excellent improvement when this work will be done. Nobody knows exactly, so just wait and see what will happen.
