Great news is coming for those who want to spare charging time! Normally, it takes you around two hours to charge your smartphone and I don’t believe that is quite a nice fact when you are in a hurry or just want to do something with your device and just want to see the battery full before. Things might change from March this year because a tool may permit you to charge your smartphone two times faster.

A cable does it all

SoniCable is the company which claims it can do that with the help of a cable. A data cable, introduced in a normal USB can now be as twice as useful. First, you get the information you need from another device, for example a laptop, and leaving it in may help you to charge your smartphone in no time from almost empty to 100 percent. Well, not exactly no time, but one hour comparing to two is quite a progress and a spare of time. Especially because it doesn’t look like affecting in anyway your battery’s life!

It will cost around 20 dollars

SoniCable is currently being funded on Indiegogo, where it blew past its $10,000 goal. With 39 days left in the campaign, the SoniCable has already raised more than $87,000. The price of this cable is stated to be around 20 and you also can command a package which include the SoniCable charger for 27 dollars which is 25 percent lower than the price which will be put in the final launch. This might not be the record of charging, because Israeli startup StoreDot is also working on a charger that can supposedly charge your phone fully in just 30 seconds.
