Apple phones, iPhones of course, are still dominating clearly the market in the idea that this type of devices still have best sales in the United States. At least this is what a statistic made by Consumer Intelligence Research Partners revealed. We are talking here about 500 people who bought smartphones in the fourth quarter of 2014 and the research says that 50 percent of these people preferd to get an iPhone model.

BlackBerry, below 1 percent!

On the second spot, far away behind, with nearly a half less, stands Samsung which sold 26 percent of the total devices. On the third spot of these table LG got the position with 11 percent which, to be honest, it is far behind the two giants mentioned above. Not to say that other companies have almost insignifiant numbers here: Motorola, 4 percent, HTC and Nokia, 2 percent, Amazon, 1 percent, and other once big names even less, like is the case of BlackBerry which has below 1 percent.

86 percent of iPhone users activated the last model

To continue exposing Apple’s success, let’s say that their numbers significantly increased from the third quarter of the last year, considering that only 28 percent of the total smartphones activated came from Apple, according to same studies. This fact is somehow normal if we take in consideration the launch of the new iPhone launch in September. 86 percent of the total iPhone activations from the last three months came from customers that got the newest devices from the American company, here including not just iPhone 6, but also iPhone 6 Plus.
