Tablets industry becomes more powerful and the rivalries may touch higher levels as all big companies are ready to launch oversized devices. Sony, for example, which entered this industry in 2011 is aiming to deliver a 12.9 inch device in the next year which is expected to make great competition to Apple and Samsung. The tablet is expected to appear in the first half of the following year and information about its characteristics already appeared.

Characteristics

The Sony gadget looks to have a 3840 x 2400 pixel screen resolution, will be 8.6 millimeters thick, will have a Qualcomm processor and an 8-megapixel video camera. Its expected performances mean that it will also have a quite raised price of about 1000 dollars per device. Even though, the company expects a great impact among customers from all World. But it won’t be so easy tough, as Apple and Samsung also prepare the launch of new large sized tablets. More information also state that some of the components of the future Sony tablet are already mass produced.

Apple and Samsung also preparing

The American company works intensively on creating a new 12.2 inch tablet which will have an LCD touchscreen and, most likely, will also house the new-generation A9 processor. The rivals, from Samsung, already have a tablet with this screen measure, so that’s why they are working already to a bigger one which is also programed to appear in 2015. Rumors say it will have 13.3 inch with an LCD screen, instead of an AMOLED one, and the resolution will probably be somewhere at 2560 x 1600 pixels.
