Samsung is one of the biggest smartphone producers from the market right now, but it can’t stay only in this industry for too long, considering the big competition. So, Samsung had to come up with something on the TV market. There, also the competition is infernal, so this is why, the South Korean company invented a Smart TV which simply works by voice control, instead of a remote control. The technique looks very good, but it has some important gaps which specialists immediately remarked and talked about.

Samsung reacts

It looks like the Samsung Smart TV voice function may affect your private life in the case you speak something important or which can be compromising nearby your Smart TV. These information, alongside with any other words said there go straight to a third party and this way it can become dangerous for your privacy or even safety.

Information talked about this, but Samsung, of course, offered their official position to deny any potential charge: “Samsung takes consumer privacy very seriously. In all of our Smart TVs we employ industry-standard security safeguards and practices, including data encryption, to secure consumers' personal information and prevent unauthorized collection or use. Voice recognition, which allows the user to control the TV using voice commands, is a Samsung Smart TV feature, which can be activated or deactivated by the user. The TV owner can also disconnect the TV from the Wi-Fi network.”
