Even though Android controls 85 percent of the smartphones from the market, the OS still depends on some applications which are the property of Microsoft. For example, today the Outlook application, the new version was delivered for Android and iOS powered operating systems. Still, it is based on another application, Acompli, bought by Microsoft in last December. It looks like the deal for email app was around 200 million dollars which looks like great amount of money.

What it can do:

Of course, Microsoft takes now advantage of this and already made the new version of Outlook available on the back of Acompli which means, of course, that this application was good enough from the first place to support Outlook update. We must say that this version will support Office 365, Exchange, Outlook.com, Yahoo! and Gmail. Also it has OneDrive and Dropbox.

So, from this moment, if you are an owner of an Android or iOS smartphone or tablet you can use the new Outlook. We are curious how do you get along with it so, don’t hesitate to leave here an opinion if you like it or not, because I am sure many of our readers are very curious to find out how things going with it and if it is worth buying.
