Samsung is definitely a producer that makes very popular smartphones so this is why, we thought it might be a good idea to present here, like a comparison, the characteristics of the last four models appeared on the market, all in 2014. This way, you can choose easier your desired smartphone. Or you can just realize that Samsung isn’t for you and go through purchasing another device, from another company. It is your pick!

Samsung Galaxy S5

We’ll start with Samsung Galaxy S5. It features a memory of 2GB of RAM, has a 2.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and when it comes to operating system let us say that is an popular Android KitKat. Not as popular as Lollipop is at this moment, but this should do. The main camera seems a good deal, considering the 16 megapixel resolution, but the front one is far less powerful with only 2 megapixels. So, if you are a selfie fan, than you won’t obtain exactly the picture of your dreams. Samsung Galaxy S5 has dimensions of 142 by 72.5 by 8.1 mm, a 5.1 inch and 1920 x 1080 pixel screen resolution, a 2800 mAh battery which can last up to 21 hours and it weighs 145 grams.

Samsung Galaxy Alpha

Next to come is the Samsung Galaxy Alpha. It also has 2 GB of RAM memory, but the processor is different, this being an Exynos 5 Octa 5430 chipset of either 1.3 OR 1.8 GHz. With the same OS, Android KitKat, another difference between the devices is about the rear camera which has a 12 megapixel resolution power. The back tool figures only 2.1 MP as well. The device is smaller than the previous one with dimensions of 132.4 by 65.5 by 6.7 mm, weighs 115 grams and has a weaker resolution of 1280 x 720 megapixels and also a 4.7 inch display. Last but not least, the battery can deliver only 11 hours of talk time because of the 1860 mAh.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and Note Edge

Considered together, Galaxy Note 4 and Galaxy Note Edge can be, for sure, nice investments. We talk about them in the same row because they have many things in common, starting their name. Both feature a RAM of 3GB, Android KitKat, 2.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset, main camera of 16MP, front camera of 3.7MP. Definitely better characteristics than the devices analyzed above. Also, both have a 2560 x 1440 pixel touchscreen resolution, the only difference seeming to be inch size. While Note 4 has 5.7 inch display, Note Edge measures just 5.6. Both have powerful batteries, but the 3220 mAh of Note 4 can last two hours longer than 3000 mAh of Note Edge. Dimensions look alike as well, with 153.5 x 78.6 x 8.5 mm, 176 grams and 151.3 x 82.4 x 8.3 mm, 174 grams.
