AT&T made an important deal by purchasing Mexican prepaid company Iusacell. Or at least it seems so! The second carrier from the United States paid 2.5 billion dollars for this deal and now became the first ever North American Mobile Service which covers 400 million consumers in United States and Mexico. Their big advantage with this deal is that roaming prices from Mexico to United States will be far better with AT&T than with all the other carriers.

"One customer experience"

At least this is what rumors say, because no other financial details were revealed by the ones who made the transaction. Only a few words from Randall Stephenson, AT&T chairman and CEO: “It won’t matter which country you’re in or which country you’re calling – it will all be one network, one customer experience.” In fact, the purchasing mean for AT&T 70 percent coverage of network and customers from Mexico which, to be honest, is not a bad number at all!
