The number of MVNO from the United States of America is about to increase in the near future with at least one company, even though all is now only at the phase of rumors. It looks like Mariposa Holdings wants to enter the market and their main target is the Hispanic market, considering the origins of the company. In the case which Mariposa will become a new MVNO in U.S. it will have some competition for the targeted market.

Tracfone, Virgin Mobile and Univision, the competition

First of all, there is Tracfone from America Movil, Univision and also Virgin Mobile which ensure most cell phone services for the Hispanic users from all around the United States. For now, the date in which Mariposa Holdings will enter the market remain unknown and also the company with which it will work and for which it will become MVNO hasn’t been mentioned for now, but the plans are very big!

They want to open branded stores

At least it seems so, according to the CEO of Mariposa Holdings, David Fondots who is confident in the company’s success if it will enter the market of the United States of America. So, in a statement, he explained: “We will go with one offer — a his and hers phone — and simple plans”. Besides this, Mariposa wants to open branded stores in as many big cities from the United States as possible in which they will, of course, sell phones and services. Now let’s wait and see when this will happen.
