ZTE comes with two devices at two different prepaid providers. T-Mobile and Boost Mobile. From the first company you can get the ZTE Zinger which has quite interesting characteristics, even though not top class, for this level, we may say and it can be purchased for 94.99 dollars. The ZTE device works with Android 4.4 OS, has a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and an 3.5 inch touchscreen, a bit small for ones which need a smartphone for playing games for instance.

It comes also with a 512 MB RAM memory and a 5GB memory for storage plus a 2 megapixels camera which is, to be honest, quite useless for those who expect to make quality pictures. Like it is also the case of its LTE capacity, as it can use only the 3G network. So, from many point of views, the ZTE Speed, the device offered with Boost, for little more dollars, 99.99 in total, looks more promising.

ZTE Speed is better

The processor and operating system are the same, but it has a 4.5 inch touchscreen and you got the possibility to go on for 4G network and also for a 1GB RAM memory. The storage memory is bigger as well, of 8GB and plus a microSD slot for extra storage. Last, but not least, it has a 5-megapixels camera which can make far better pictures than the one of ZTE Zinger, even though not the best…

Some details about these two smartphones are also given by Zeng Xuezhong, CEO of ZTE’s: “We had a large volume in the market, but it did not help increase our brand value. We have introduced a strategy to increase the value – instead of the volume – of our products by focusing on developing core technology in major devices”
