The smartphone market from the United States of America remains topped by Apple and Samsung devices, but things may change in the following years as the Chinese producers compete more and strongly with their devices and want to enter strongly on the market of the U.S. First of all, the competitions brings smartphone prices at lower prices and the gap between them and ordinary phones decreased spectacular, reason for which the sales of these kind of devices decreased with 25 percent in the last year.

Mi series will enter in Las Vegas in January

Still, the cellphones aren’t the main subject of this discussion, so let us go back at Chinese made smartphones. As rumors say at this moment it looks like some producers from this country are prepared to enter the market from the United States somewhere in 2015. More precise, it looks like Xiaomi is planning to introduce the next version of Mi series in the United States in January at the 2015 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The company increases as year passes and already is more searched than Samsung in China.

"Chinese brands are well-positioned to expand!"

Some analysts even talked about this hypothesis and explain why Chinese may have great success in the following years on the smartphone market from the United States: "With the ability to undercut cost and offer top specs, Chinese brands are well-positioned to expand in the premium phone market, too, and address the needs of upgrade users that aspire to premium phones, but cannot afford Apple or Samsung high-end products". The potential seem good as Xiaomi alongside Huawei have right now only 10.5 percent of the Global market, comparing to the 24.4 percent which Samsung alone has at this moment.
