Third party services became a real pane in all kind of services but especially in the cell phones ones. Now, Snapchat confirmed that the company will crack down such applications and this measure falls on Windows Phone application store, which now contains no more such third party applications as they stated through their officials.

However, Windows doesn’t have any official application for its phones so who wants to use properly a smartphone with Microsoft operating system than it should go and download a Snapchat compatible application. Even those who use 6snap were banned from doing so as Snapchat blocked the access also applying the policy of the third party blocking. Now, Windows try to convince Snapchat’s board to make some exceptions but it looks like, for now at least, that they have 0 tolerance for this kind of stuff.

Still, it expected to see how much time will this ban on third parties will last because information say that Snapchat is working and will soon be done with their mobile messaging platform. And this means that they’ll release an official API so this way may allow third parties to connect to its service but providing in the same time increased protection for user privacy, fact that stayed, in the first place, at the base of Snapchat zero tolerance when it comes to third parties.

This problem has to be solved in somehow at least according to the customers. They didn’t ever have an official application so, apart from the security concerns, they need some things that this program forbids them because right now they don’t even have unofficial applications. We believe they don’t care too much about the source of the applications if they satisfy their needs and expectations.
