Many people have several e-mails or Facebook accounts, but how many can say that have more than one phone number? The guys from this category aren’t few this is for sure, but clearly fewer than the two categories mentioned above. Generally, we avoid getting more than one phone number because it costs extra and / or we want that our cell phone number to be a trade mark for our loved ones or even for other people with which we enter in contact.

But what happens when you need to give a call or to do something else with a phone number and don’t want to be tracked in any way. I am sure that most of us want at least once in a while to give or receive a phone call but after the number which are they using to disappear. Of course, prepaid cell phone numbers can be a solution, but I am not sure if it can be better than the application about I want to talk a bit.

Burner is named after the ‘burner phones’ made popular by HBO’s The Wire and allows customers to create temporary numbers to give out to keep your identity and personal number private in certain situations. So, in other words, through this application, you can create, manage and ‘burn’ or delete as many numbers as you like. It is important for you to know that when you request a new Burner, you have to select what kind of number you want from this list based on how long you need it, and how often you’ll use it. Here are the options that you have:

Sample (available once to try it) – 1 day or 5 voice and 15 text (free)

Mini Burner – 7 days or 20 voice or 15 text (3 credits)

Standard Burner – 30 days or 50 voice or 150 texts (5 credits)

Large Burner – 30 days or 90 voice or 270 texts (8 credits)

Long Burner – 60 days or 75 voice or 225 texts (8 credits)

30 days or 50 voice or 150 texts (5 credits)

90 days or 90 minutes or 270 texts (10 credits)

60 voice or 180 texts (5 credits)

These are the options and quite everything you need to know about them but don’t forget to take a look on the equivalency between credits and dollars. So, 3 credits mean 2 dollars, 8 credits - 5 dollars, 15 credits – 8 dollars and 25 credits – 12 dollars.
