Cell phone industry is expanding very quickly and I am sure that few of you know for sure how many subscribers have the biggest carriers from the United States of America. Of course, we’re speaking this time about postpaid contracts, because the prepaid ones are quite relative and can modify from time to time. Even though that they usually increase because of the more need that people have for keeping in touch with others on all three plans, voice, text and internet data.

Verizon Mobile is not only the highest rank network when we are talking about speed and quality, but they also have the most postpaid subscribers from all the country. We are talking here about 100 million subscribers, with 33 percent more than AT&T has at this moment, considering that the Georgia based company has the highest number after Verizon. The top four is completed, as expected, by the other two powerful carriers from the nation, Sprint Mobile and T-Mobile. The first has right now 29 million postpaid subscribers, while the German based operator has 26 million.

The difference looks quite big, but it is correct if we watch and see what is the position on the market of every provider of those four and especially what kind of services has every one of them to offer. To make a sum we see that Giant four has 230 million subscribers which is a huge number even for a country like US, even though, for sure, some important number of them figure out with more postpaid plans at the same operator or even at two or more of them.
